Die heilige Zahl 108

Am 8.1.2014 oder in US-Datumsformat 1-08 verstarb plötzlich, mit Mitte 30, der unglücksselige E.no9, derjenige der mir bei der Liebesschwingung mit Anja in die Quere kam und ihren Kopf und Geist durcheinanderbrachte. Im Kapitel Spurensuche habe ich es kurz erwähnt. 

Nicht nur in Indien gilt die Zahl 108 als die heiligste aller Zahlen, es scheint etwas ganz besonderes mit dieser Hundertacht verbunden zu sein.

108 gute Gründe für die heilige Zahl

 

Im Hinduismus, Buddhismus, Sikhismus und auch Im Jainismus wird häufig die 108 als heilige Zahl erwähnt und verwendet. Tatsächlich gibt es viele Gründe weshalb die Hundertacht bei genauerer Betrachtung eine ganz besondere Zahl ist. Es noch andere heilige Zahlen wie zB die 3 im Christentum welche für die trinität Vater, Sohn und Heiliger Geist steht und die 99 im Islam für die 99 schönen namen Allahs. Ausserdem gelten wohl noch die 12 als heilig, wegen der 12 Apostel und der 12 Monate und auch die 8 ist besonders, da sie für Unendlichkeit steht. Anderen heiligen Zahlen widme ich mich im letzten Abschnitt, hier gehts zunächst um die heilige Zahl 108!

• Zunächst mal ergibt sich die 108 aus der Multiplikation von 9 und 12. Die 9 und die 12 gelten auch in verschiedensten spirituellen Traditionen als besondere Zahlen.
• Manche deuten die 108 so: die 1 steht für das eine Göttliche Prinzip welches Nondual, also ohne ein zweites ist, die 0 für die Leere bzw. die Fülle und die 8 für die Ewigkeit bzw. Unendlichkeit, oder anders gesagt: „thing, nothing, and everything„, „etwas, nichts, alles“.

Unglaublich was man zur 108 als besondere Zahl findet:

• Die 108 ist immer wieder auf verschiedenste Weise mit der Zahl 3 verbunden, die auch als heilig gilt, so sagt man ja zb „alle guten Dinge sind 3“. Beispiele für den Zusammenhang mit der 3: die Quersumme der 108 = 9 ist = 3×3. Oder auch: 1×1=1, 2×2=4, 3x3x3=27 und dann resultierend 1x4x27=108. Oder 1 x 2×2 x 3x3x3 =108. Das nennt man dann auch „Hyperfaktorial von 3„, also 1Hoch1 mal 2Hoch2 mal 3Hoch3 ist = 108 !

• Die 108 ist verblüffender Weise die Summe von 9 aneinandergereihten Zahlen die summiert werden: 8+9+10+11+12+13+14+15+16= 108.
• Die 108 ist durch 12 verschiedene Zahlen teilbar: 1,2,3,4,6,9,12,18, 27,36,54,108

• Die 108 ist eine Harshad-Zahl, also eine natürliche Zahl die durch die Quersumme ihrer Ziffern im Dezimalsystem teilbar ist. Harshad ist Sanskrit und bedeutet: „Freuden-bringend!“ – Was für ein Spass!
• noch eine Mathematische Besonderheit: 6Hoch2+6Hoch2+6Hoch2 = 6×6+6×6+6×6 = 36+36+36 = 108. Hängt also auch irgendwie mit der „Zahl des Biestes“ aus der Bibel zusammen, 666!? Übrigens ist die 6 im Hebräischen Alphabet das „W“, also 666 = www
• In der Indischen Astrologie, die deutlich früher zu einer ausgefeilten Wissenschaft wurde als die unsere, gibt es die 12 Tierkreiszeichen und die 9 Planeten. 12 X 9 = 108.
• In Indien gibt es seit 3000 Jahren aus dem Text „Yajurveda“ die Einteilung des Sternensystems in 27 Gruppen mit je 4 Teilen, also 108.

fast 108 Gründe kommen da zusammen…

• Die Gebetsketten (Mala) die man für die spirituelle Praxis in den oben genannten Religionen benötigt, enthält 108 Perlen. Mit der rechten Hand zählt man damit die einzelnen Mantras (Gebetsformeln) und entwickelt dadurch immer mehr Bhakti (Hingabe).
• In der Sikh-Tradition werden 108 Knoten in einem Wollfaden als Gebetskette benutzt.
• auch Teile von 108 gelten als heilig, so zB die 54, 36, 27 und besonders die 9. Manche Malas (Gebetsketten) gibt es mit entsprechenden Teilen der 108 an Perlen.
• Bei hinduistischen Ritualen werden die wichtigsten Mantras 108x rezitiert

• Die alten Geheimlehren der Inder, die Upanishaden, bestehen offiziell aus 108 einzelnen Texten, ebenso gibt es 108 Purana-Texte.
• Das Sanskrit-Alphabet besteht aus 54 Silben, jede hat eine weibliche und eine männliche Seite, also 108.
• Die Winkel der aneinanderliegenden Linien in einem Pentagon (bzw. im inneren Fünfeck eines Pentagramms) betragen genau 108 Grad. Über das Pentagon ist die 108 auch mit dem goldenen Schnitt des Da Vinci verknüpft: Die Seite des Fünfecks im Verhältnis zu seiner Diagonalen entspricht dem goldenen Schnitt.
• Man sagt, in Ägypten stünden 108 Pyramiden.
• Die Indischen Gottheiten haben jeweils 108 Namen. (Manche sogar 1008, das bedeutet „unendlich viel“…)
• Der Durchmesser der Sonne ist 108 mal soviel wie der Durchschnitt der Erde. Der Abstand von Sonne und Erde (149,6 Mio Km) ist ca. 108 mal soviel, wie der Durchmesser der Sonne (1,39 Mio Km). Diese beiden Fakten haben die Seher (Rishis) im alten Indien schon gewusst (ca.vor 4000 Jahren) und sind inzwischen durch die moderne Wissenschafft bestätigt.

• In der Lehre des Tantra spricht man von durchschnittlich 21600 Atemzügen täglich. Davon ist eine Hälfte solar (Surya) und die andere lunar (Chandra). Wenn wir die Hälfte 10800 durch 100 teilen, kommen wir auf 108. Deshalb soll man ein Mantra 108 mal wiederholen, die Kraft wird Hundertfach und wir füllen den Tag mit der mystischen Kraft.
• Das Volumen von gefrorenem Wasser steigt auf bis zu 108%.
• In vielen Tempeln Indiens taucht immerwieder die Zahl 108 auf. Beispielsweise Treppenstufen, Fenster, Altäre…
• In Indien ruft man bei Notfällen die Tel.Nr. 108 an.
• Es gibt 108 mögliche freie Heptominos, also Polyominos der 7.Ordnung, (erstaunlich was man alles so findet) das sind geometrische Formen die man aus 7 Quadraten erstellen kann. (Wenn man sonnst keine Hobbies hat)

• Im Ayurveda sowie auch anderen indischen Heilslehren gibt es 108 Marmapunkte, das sind besondere vitale Stellen am Körper in denen Lebensenergien zusammenfliessen. Diese entsprechen auch etwa den 108 Druckpunkten die es in manchen asiatischen Kampfkünsten gibt.
• Stonehenge hat 108 Fuss Durchmesser. Was auch immer damals die Norm für ein Fuss war.
• Abgeleitet von der 108 sind in Indien auch ähnliche Zahlen wie 18, 1008 oder 10800 besonders. zB hat die Bhagavad Gita 18 Kapitel, Shiva 1008 Namen und der RigVeda 10800 Verse.
• Shiva tanzt als Nataraj (Tänzer) seinen Tandava (Göttlichen Tanz) in 108 verschiedenen Varianten.
• Ein offizieller Baseball ist mit exakt 108 Stichen genäht.
• Das Nepalesiche Parlament hat 108 Sitze.

• In Tibet bekommt eine Frau zur Hochzeit 108 Zöpfe geflochten.
• Die geometrische Tonleiter der Kathedrale von Chartres, die das Geheimnis der Templer verbergen soll, basiert auf der 108.
• Jemand der durch die Meditation so entspannt ist, dass er nur 108 Atemzüge am Tag benötigt, ist fast erleuchtet.
• In der Fernsehserie „Lost“ mussten die Zahlen 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, und 42, welche zusammen 108 ergeben, alle 108 Minuten in einen Computer eingegeben werden, um ein grosses Unheil zu verhindern.
• „Jain 108“ war der erste Mensch mit einer Zahl als Nachnamen. Wobei es in Indien viele Sadhus und Swamis gibt, die die Zahl 108 oder 1008 im Titel verwenden.

Not only in India is the number 108 the most sacred of all figures, it seems to be something very special to be connected with this hundredth.  

108 good reasons fot the 108

 In Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism and also in Jainism, the 108 is often mentioned as a sacred figure. In fact, there are many reasons why the 108 is, on closer examination, a very special number.
